Monday Mornings

Monday Mornings are the exact opposite of Friday afternoons. Gone is the thrill of the knowledge that soon, I’ll be home and able to lounge about doing whatever it is I may please, dressed however I may please.

Monday mornings are the bane of my existance. Why is it that we have to get up so blasted early on such beautiful mornings as these? And for that matter, why is it that you so rarely see a gloomy Monday morning? Is it the gods above looking, laughing and so enjoying the misery that a beautiful morning brings? Maybe they should be forced to wake up to a day such as this, and be made to come to work in a closed in office with no window, with only a memory of the outside so briefly experienced just a few hours prior.

Beautiful monday mornings are waste. It is a sin to wake up and trudge along with the breeze’s blowing by, carrying such succullent scents as flowers in bloom

Gah! I think working on a Monday morning such as that which I experienced today should be outlawed.
