Textpattern Plugins
To put it bluntly, I don’t have the time to develop plugins any further. I’m in the middle of Law School and things are quite heavy. I would only be fooling myself if I were to say I would develop my plugins further. While TXP development was interesting and a great learning experience it is something which I no longer have the time, or desire, to participate in any further. I may develop my own personal plugins further, and I might even release one occasionally, but they will never be actively developed.
When time permits, I’ll put the full source of everything on GitHub and hope that others will take up the mantel and develop them further. If I ever have the time or desire, I might submit an update or two.
The plugins which I am no longer developing are:
- EBL Image Edit
- EBL Upload
- EBL Quick Note
- EBL Gallery
UPDATE: Ok. I lied. I do have the desire, but in order to succeed with my Legal Pursuits, I do need to dedicate my time to studying. I think, perhaps, the lack of desire facet stems from the fact that I really dislike how I am treated in my current job. I develop half time when not studying, and the Boss currently makes his employees life miserable. Perhaps if I ever get a new job, I might actively start developing during off time.
